Krispy Kreme has come out with some pretty amazing donuts over the years from pie-inspired treats for Thanksgiving to holiday treats that look just like some Christmas favorites. But fans will know that the best Krispy Kreme donuts are some of its simplest donuts like its classic glazed and its harder-to-find chocolate glazed. Well now, you can score a Chocolate Glazed Donut this Friday.
If you're not familiar, since 2018, Krispy Kreme has brought out its Chocolate Glazed Donuts on the first Friday of every month, and it looks like that tradition will be continuing into 2020. On January 3, you can stop into any participating Krispy Kreme location in the US and Canada and buy one.
The Chocolate Glazed Donut is made up of Krispy Kreme's Original Donuts covered in chocolate glaze. It's simple, yes, but people typically lose their minds over it, as evidenced by the comments in Krispy Kreme's Instagram post announcing Chocolate Friday's return.
"Tomorrow is my birthday and I couldn’t imagine a better birthday present!" one person wrote. "Got to have some of these," another said.
If you don't have a chance to visit your local Krispy Kreme today, never fear; Krispy Kreme has confirmed the donuts will be back at participating locations on the first Friday in February, which if you're not near a calendar, is February 6. This is a good sign that it will continue throughout 2020. As if you didn't have enough reasons to look forward to Fridays.
