Cargill is voluntarily recalling Wilbur Dark Chocolate Covered Cashews because they contain malted milk balls not cashews.
The recall affects 39, 1-pound bags of malted milk balls that are labeled cashews because malted milk balls contain wheat, a potential allergen, which is not declared on the label.
The candy was sold at the Wilbur Chocolate Store in Lititz.
The bags recalled are:
- Wilbur Dark Chocolate Covered Cashews, lot No. 19100301WH with the bar code No. 200172-16.
They were sold between Dec. 1, 2019, and Dec. 30, 2019.
No illnesses have been reported.
Unused portions of the product can be returned to the store for a refund.
For more information, contact Denise Auker at denise_auker@cargill.com or call 717-627-7946 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.
